Edmonton North PCN’s Footcare program puts the spotlight back on feet, assisting patients in a group or individual setting, to take good care of their feet. Following some simple tips on nail care, self-examination, and skin care can make all the difference to maintaining foot health.
Patients are either seen in a group setting or in a one on one appointment. In the group you will learn about the basics of foot care and how you can take care of your own feet at home. For those who need treatment or are unable to manage their own care, individual appointments will be set up. These appointments with a LPN focus on your specific needs such as treatment of common foot problems, and help you achieve independence where possible in managing your own foot care.
