  Rundle Health Centre

Rundle Health Centre is now open!

We are excited to announce that Rundle Health Centre is now open in the heart of the Beverly community. We know that people's health improves when they have access to a grid of resources and we are happy to be part of the grid of resources in this community!

Rundle Health Centre, part of the Edmonton North Primary Care Network (PCN) is a new community based primary care clinic, located next to the No Frills at 3427-118 Avenue. This clinic is open to those who are over 17 and live in the neighborhoods of Abbottsfield, Beacon Heights, Bergman, Beverly Heights or Rundle Heights. A referral from your family doctor is not required but health care works the best when it is coordinated with your family doctor. Rundle Health Centre recommends you discuss your health questions and concerns with them. However, we also know that life is busy and finding a convenient time to see your doctor can be difficult.

Rundle Health Centre offers drop-in appointments as well as scheduled appointments. You can come into Rundle Health Centre anytime between 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Mondays, 8:00 a.m. - 5:15 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. on Fridays.

Scheduled appointments are the best way to avoid waiting for an appointment and can be made by calling 780-479-1533.  Services at Rundle Health Centre are free.

If you are looking for help with the following, seeing one of our primary care health staff at Rundle Health Centre may be right for you:

  • questions about medications, taking them properly, and side effects
  • support dealing with stress, loss, grief, or loneliness
  • addressing tobacco use, smoking, alcohol consumption and weight management
  • eating better, increasing physical activity, and feeling happier
  • caring for your feet and diabetic foot exams
  • where to go for lab work or the location of specialists
  • completion of forms or referral to other organizations

Rundle Health Centre does not provide doctor visits, lab services, blood tests, or X-rays.

The team is a combination of full-time and part-time staff including nurses, social workers, and mental health practitioners, with access to exercise specialists, pharmacists, and dieticians. The team works with people individually and in groups, to help them manage their health and improve their quality of life.

Services at Rundle Health Centre are for those over 17.  If you have concerns about the health or welling being of someone under 17, coming to Rundle Health Centre for support and help finding the right program or service is welcomed.  Also, if you do not have a health issue but you are concerned about someone else that does, coming to speak with someone at Rundle Health Centre is also encouraged.

We all have a stake in the wellbeing of each other. Those of us at Rundle Health Centre knows that when access to walkable neighborhoods, ample park space, cultural events, fresh food, and safe housing is flowing throughout the grid, the health and wellness of everyone improves.  In addition to working with individuals, Rundle Health Centre is also keen to work with community groups to promote good health and tip the scale to improved quality of life for everyone in the Beverly community.
